Curt Hefner

Curt brings more than two decades of proven expertise in industrial leasing and real estate development to Forefront Commercial Real Estate. With a track record that spans over 12 million square feet of industrial projects and more than $900 million in transaction volume, Curt is a recognized leader in the commercial real estate industry. His experience encompasses all facets of the development process—from site selection and entitlement to lease negotiations and asset stabilization—providing clients with valuable insight and strategic guidance throughout each phase of a project.

In addition to his role at Forefront, Curt serves as the President of Hefner Properties, a privately held, family-owned real estate company.

Curt launched his career at Duke Realty Corporation, one of the nation’s leading industrial real estate firms, where he spent nine years honing his skills and building strong industry relationships. During his tenure, he played a key role in a number of major developments and was consistently recognized for his performance. Curt earned the Dallas Business Journal’s “Best Industrial Deal” award in both 2009 and 2010 and was named to the publication’s prestigious “Heavy Hitters” list for seven consecutive years—a testament to his consistent success and influence in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.

Curt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance with a concentration in Real Estate from Indiana University.
